While we all may have to take a break from WoW sometimes (well, some of us), it's important that from time to time we demote or remove inactive characters from the guild. This lets us better gauge the true size of the guild and how many active players we have – information we need to know to make sure we're recruiting the right classes/specs. To facilitate this process, the rules below will be applied to inactive characters unless you have let Tyrill or another officer know that you will be away from the game for an extended period of time, or that your absence will be longer than you thought. A post on the Forum is more than sufficient notification, or you can send a PM via the Forum. Raiding Members If a Raiding Member's character has been inactive – that is, the player has not been seen online – for one month without explanation that character will be demoted to Social Member. If the character sees a further two months of inactivity, that character will be removed from the guild. If the player returns while the character is a Social Member, he or she will have to ask the GL to be reconsidered for Raiding Membership. Social Members If a Social Members character has been inactive for two months without explanation, their character will be deleted from the guild. Alts Players do need to regularly play their Alts for them to remain in the guild. Alts that have been inactive for two months will be deleted from the guild. If the player is still active on their main, the GL will talk to them before the Alt is removed.
