If you're new to Convicted Heroes and trying to find your way around, there are few things you need to make sure you do first...
1. Become a 'Member' on the Forum
Hmm. Yes. You posted an application. BUT you might not be considered a 'Member' in the eyes of the Forum. To get your Forum registration upgraded to member, you can contact Tyrill (either via an in-game whisper or by a PM using the Forum). We do check periodically but if you let us know you're waiting we'll make a point of giving you Member access to the Forums. That will let you access more areas of the Forum and the raid sign-up tool.
2. Read all the important stuff on the website
All important guild documents are on the website. You'll want to make sure you familiarise yourself with:
3. Register for the online raid sign-up tool & sign-up for raids
All 10-man and 25-man raids are scheduled using the online phpRaider tool. To sign-up for a raid, you'll need to have set up a Profile on the system (under, um, Profile). You'll find the phpRaider tool at convicted-heroes.fn.com.au/raid Everything should be fairly explanatory, but if you have any difficulties please get in touch with one of the officers.
4. Register for the DKP system
In 25-man raids you'll earn DKP which you can then spend on the items that drop (but you knew that, didn't you, because you read all about our DKP system in Step 2...) When you first join CH you'll be a Guest Member. As a Guest you'll earn DKP but not be able to spend it. But to earn it, you have to be registered with the DKP system. Once you've submitted your registration, let Tyrill know so he can activate it. If you don't register for DKP you won't earn any (and we won't give it retrospectively to you ... because we're mean like that!).
So register for the DKP system: http://www.gsdkp.com/US/amanthul/convicted_heroes
5. Make sure you have all the mandatory raid add-ons
CH only requires a few add-ons for raiding, but make sure you have them all installed and working before rocking up to your first raid.
6. Get the details of our Ventrilo server
You'll be required to be on Vent for all raids, so check the guild info tab in-game or jump over to the forums and grab the Vent server details so you can connect.
7. Ask questions
If there's anything that's a bit confusing or doesn't seem to work correctly, just whisper an Officer in-game or send us a PM. If we're not around, ask any member of CH and they'll probably be able to help.
8. Relax & have fun!
And welcome to CH!
